Maritime Greenwich Because of its connections with ?time? Greenwich has several sundials. 2 modern ones within the inscribed area are Dolphin Sundial ? near the National Maritime Museum Tearooms. See Millennium Sundial at the Link provided. Situated near the boating lake in Greenwich Park. An interesting issue here is that, despite its recent installation, the sundial shows a GPS location of W 000? 00.093 . This represents a couple of metres and is due to an installation error ? though the exact meridian at Greenwich is also slightly ?out? when measured by GPS

Suggestions?

Do you know of another WHS we could connect to Sundial?

Send it to me!

A connection should:

  1. Not be "self evident"
  2. Link at least 3 different sites
  3. Not duplicate or merely subdivide the "Category" assignment already identified on this site.
  4. Add some knowledge or insight (whether significant or trivial!) about WHS for the users of this site
  5. Be explained, with reference to a source
